Poojya Allamaprabhu Swamiji is the driving force behind Basava Divine Center is. A scholar in Vachanas and Basava Philosophy, he is an accomplished practitioner and researcher of Basavayoga. He is dedicated to the cause of researching and propagating the percepts and practices of Guru Basavanna towards the betterment of individuals and society.
Poojya Swamiji is well versed in various systems of Indian philosophy and mystic traditions. An accomplished yogi, he is an expert in different forms of yoga. Known for his simple lifestyle and calm personality, he has embodied the percept of samate (mental equanimity), a key concept of Sharanas that ensues serenity into the life.
Poojya Swamiji has authored books on Vachanas and Sharanas. He is also the editor of Basava Kirana, a monthly newspaper. He is a great orator and has extensively lectured across Karnataka spreading the eternal message of Vachanas. His elucidating lectures target all classes of the society and have won the acclaim of people from diverse background.
Along with Poojya Allamaprabhu Swamiji, Rupaka has been instrumental in establishing Basava Divine Center. A spiritual soul from her childhood, Rupaka has practiced various disciplines like Vedanta, Yoga, and Shakti Upasane prior to entering the path of Guru Basavanna. She is an Engineer by profession and is the founding CEO of a technology company. True to the traditions of Guru Basavanna, she is performing her Sadhana, Kayaka, and propagation of Basava teachings with dedication.
She has undertaken systematic study of Vachanas under the guidance of Poojya Swamiji. She has authored books and articles on Vachanas in both English and Kannada. She lectures and conducts classes in meditation, Basava Philosophy, and its application to life.
